How to get to Lampedusa

By Boat:

The island of Lampedusa is accessible with a ferry ship line from Port Empedocle (AG).
The ship departs at 23:59 (11:59pm) every evening, and arrives to Lampedusa dock the next morning after a short stopover at Linosa.
On the way back, it departs at 10:15am towards Port Empedocle.
Only for the summer periods there is a connection with Port Empedocle, with an hydrofoil that only takes 4 hours to reach Sicily.

By Airline:

To reach Lampedusa by plane is the most comfortable solution. Lampedusa is connected with Sicily through daily flights to Catania and Palermo, Punta Raisi is the start point closer, with frequent daily flights.
Some airlines connect directly Lampedusa with the main Italian cities.
In the summer periods, Lampedusa is connected with all the main italian airports with scheduled flights, special, and charter flights.
